The Angel Aircraft Angel was an American eight-seat STOL utility transport designed specifically for missionary and humanitarian operations in remote areas, featuring pusher engine nacelles mounted above the wing surface — an unusual configuration intended to keep propellers clear of obstacles during rough-field operations.

History
Designed by Carl Mortenson for The King's Engineering Fellowship, the Angel first flew on 13 January 1984 and received FAA type certification on 20 October 1992 after an exceptionally long development. Only four production aircraft were completed before the company ceased operations.
