History
In March 1982 the HB-1 won a design contest run by the National Airworthiness Directorate for a training glider. Funding was limited to two prototypes, and the first flew on 20 January 1989.
Variants
The second prototype had a fixed landing wheel and was completed on 24 January 1991.
Where you'll see it
Both prototypes served the Club de Planeadores y Aeromodelismo Esperanza at Santa Fe, whose novice competition pilots flew them in national and international contests.
