History
The Pulsar first flew in 1985 and was offered as a kit by Aero Designs of San Antonio, Texas. It attracted buyers seeking better performance than conventional aluminium homebuilts. The design was refined over time and several variants have been produced; the Pulsar XP and Pulsar III offered increased performance.
Variants
The original Pulsar used small Continental or Rotax engines; the Pulsar XP offered higher performance; the Pulsar III featured a wider fuselage and other refinements; the Pulsar 582 used a Rotax two-stroke.
