The ASN-205 is a Chinese tactical reconnaissance UAV developed by Xi'an ASN Technology Group, widely exported and representing one of China's most successful early drone designs.

History
The ASN-205 entered development in the early 1990s as a replacement for the ASN-104/206 series, with first flight around 1995. It uses a pusher propeller and twin-tail-boom layout that gives the payload pod an unobstructed forward field of view. The design was exported to several countries including Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Pakistan, and domestically it equipped multiple PLA Army aviation and artillery units for real-time battlefield reconnaissance.
Variants
ASN-205 baseline; ASN-206 is a closely related longer-endurance derivative; both share the twin-boom pusher layout.
Where you'll see it
PLA Ground Force artillery and aviation reconnaissance units; Saudi Arabian National Guard; exported to Middle Eastern and Asian operators. The type has been in service since the late 1990s.
