Spot it by:
- Low-wing monoplane
- Single tractor radial engine
- Monoplane layout where the SAI.1 was a biplane
It is a single-engined low-wing monoplane with a 10.24 m span, the monoplane counterpart to the biplane SAI.1.

History
It was designed by Sergio Stefanutti and first flew in 1934. It used a 140 hp Fiat A.54 radial engine, the same type as the SAI.1.
Variants
Only one was built. The later SAI.2S has a similar designation but is a completely unrelated design.
Where you'll see it
Its wing area was only 1.4 square metres less than the SAI.1, but the monoplane layout gave less drag and a top speed 20 km/h higher.
