The An-74-300 is a twin-turbofan STOL transport, a development of the An-74 that relocates its engines to a conventional under-wing position.

History
The An-74 family stems from the An-72, whose over-wing engines exploited the Coanda effect for short-field lift. First flown in 2004, the -300 (An-74TK-300) variant moved the Progress D-36 turbofans to underslung pylons for better cruise efficiency, trading some short-field benefit for range and economy.
Variants
The line includes the original over-wing An-74, convertible passenger/cargo TK models, and the under-wing -300, each tailored to differing balances of field performance and payload-range.
Where you'll see it
Operators are chiefly in the former Soviet states and export customers for utility and VIP transport; the type has no UK service and is uncommon in Western Europe.
