The SV-22A was a proposed anti-submarine warfare variant of the Bell/Boeing V-22 Osprey tiltrotor, studied for the U.S. Navy to replace the S-3 Viking.

History
During V-22 development, the Navy evaluated several mission variants including the SV-22A for ASW patrol; the concept was not pursued to production due to cost and capability considerations, and the Navy ultimately declined the V-22 programme.

The V-22 family includes the MV-22B (Marines), CV-22B (SOCOM), and CMV-22B (COD); the SV-22A remained a paper study.
