The Berliner-Joyce XF3J was an American single-seat carrier-based biplane fighter prototype, submitted to the US Navy with a 625 hp Wright R-1510-26 engine. It first flew on 23 January 1934 but was not ordered.

History
The XF3J performed satisfactorily in testing, but more promising aircraft had been developed and the programme was terminated in September 1935. It was the last biplane fighter without retractable gear that the US Navy tested.
