History
Aerocomp of Merritt Island, Florida developed the Comp Air series as amateur-built (experimental) aircraft kits in the 1990s. The Comp Air 3 targeted builders seeking a fast, economical three-seater without certified-aircraft price premiums. The all-composite airframe reduces weight and simplifies construction.
