It was intended to be built by CAP in Bergamo, Italy, and first flew on 16 November 1957. It was powered by an Agusta GA.70/0 engine.
Variants
Only the prototype was built, and De Bernardi's daughter offers plans for a modernised version using a Rotax 912UL engine.
Where you'll see it
De Bernardi died in April 1959 after flying a demonstration of the prototype at Rome Urbe Airport. An example is displayed at the Museo Aeronautico Caproni di Taliedo in Milan.
