History
Development began in the late 1980s during the South African Border War, reflecting the SADF's need for indigenous unmanned reconnaissance capability under international arms embargo. The Seeker entered service in the early 1990s and has been progressively updated through Seeker II and Seeker 400 variants.
Variants
The Seeker II introduced a more capable sensor suite and longer endurance; the Seeker 400 is a significantly enlarged derivative with increased payload and altitude capability, offered for maritime patrol and ISTAR missions.
