The Friedrichshafen FF.43 was a German prototype single-seat floatplane fighter built for the Imperial German Navy in 1916. Only one was built.

History
It first flew on 8 September 1916. It was slightly faster and better armed than the competing Albatros W.4 but was not ordered, probably for inferior climb. It was destroyed in a landing accident on 23 January 1917.

Only one prototype was built.
Where you'll see it
Stationed at Zeebrugge with Naval Air Station Flanders I, it shot down a British Short 184 floatplane on 10 November 1916.
