WEFT is AircraftIQ's four-point recognition method — how it works.
Spot it by:
- Low-wing single-engined monoplane based on the Fokker S.12 trainer
- Newly designed canopy cabin for four
- Additional fuel tanks at the wingtips and small retractable landing gear
Look for a four-seat low-wing monoplane derived from the Fokker S.12 with wingtip fuel tanks and a Lycoming O-540 engine.
Specifications

- It has a wingspan of 10.74 m (35 ft).
- Its maximum speed is 374 km/h (232 mph).
- Typical crew: 1.

History
It was based on the Fokker S.12 training aircraft and proposed by technicians from the Ministry of Aeronautics. The prototype was ready in April 1965, and flight testing began shortly afterwards.
Variants
Only one prototype was built. It was modified by Brazilian Air Force engineers later in the same year and tested again successfully.
Where you'll see it
Problems included limited passenger capacity and a complicated forward-hinging cowling mechanism that made engine maintenance harder. The prototype was abandoned and eventually scrapped.
