Recognition (WEFT)
| W — Wings | High-mounted, tapered |

| E — Engines | 1 × piston, nose-mounted |
| F — Fuselage | 6.9 m fuselage |
| T — Tail | Conventional |
WEFT is AircraftIQ's four-point recognition method — how it works.
Spot it by:
- High cantilever wing, straight-tapered to quadrantal tips, with narrow ailerons over more than half the trailing edge
- Enclosed multi-windowed cabin under the wing with staggered seats and doors on both sides
- Uncowled six-cylinder Anzani radial engine and a triangular fin
Look for a small high-wing cabin tourer with an uncowled radial, a fully glazed cabin and a tapering wing with rounded tips.
Specifications
- The Guerchais-Henriot T-2 has a length of 6.9 m (23 ft).
- It has a wingspan of 12 m (39 ft).
- Its maximum speed is 150 km/h (93 mph).
- Typical crew: 1.

History
Louis Guerchais designed and built it around a six-cylinder Anzani radial fitted with a Henriot-patented carburettor. Certification problems delayed it, so it left the factory only days before the September 1928 light aircraft competition.
Variants
The Guerchais 5 was a similar three-seat aircraft with a 95 hp Salmson 7AC radial, and shared first prize at the 1929 International Touring Contest.
Where you'll see it
The T-2 was ranked sixth of nine in the 1928 competition, received its airworthiness certificate in March 1929 and took part in the Auvergne rally that July.
