The Handley Page Hendon (1924 prototype) was an early interwar British twin-engine bomber design featuring a cantilever high-wing monoplane layout at a time when biplanes dominated military aviation. It was a bold aerodynamic step for a British bomber of the mid-1920s.

History
Handley Page submitted the Hendon design to meet an Air Ministry requirement, but the RAF preferred biplane bombers in this period and the type did not enter production. The name 'Hendon' was later reused for the much larger HP.51 monoplane bomber of 1935.
Variants
The 1924 Hendon was a prototype only; no production variants were built from this design.
