Recognition (WEFT)

WEFT is AircraftIQ's four-point recognition method — how it works.
Spot it by:
- Single main rotor with a two-bladed tail rotor
- Single-seat enclosed cockpit with a windshield, on skid landing gear
- Stub wings similar to those of the Bell AH-1 HueyCobra
Look for a tiny single-seat helicopter with a semi-monocoque aluminium fuselage, stub wings like a miniature HueyCobra and a two-bladed main rotor about 6.1 m across.

History
It first flew in 1993 and was designed to comply with the US experimental amateur-built aircraft rules, supplied as a kit. The standard engine was a 145 hp Garrett AiResearch 36-55 auxiliary power unit.
Variants
The EH1-01 RotorMouse was the single-seat version, of which one was completed. The EH1-02 TandemMouse was a proposed two-seat tandem version to resemble the HueyCobra.
Where you'll see it
By 1998 the company reported that one aircraft was completed and flying. In March 2015 one example was registered in the United States, in the name of the designer.
