History
It was a refinement of the IS-28B and shared most of that aircraft's fuselage, mated to new wings and empennage. The new 20 m wing had interconnected ailerons and flaps and Schempp-Hirth-type airbrakes.
Variants
It was developed from the IS-28B, with a new wing and tail. It had no provision for water ballast.
Where you'll see it
The IS-32 was built by ICA in Romania as a high-performance two-seater. Its monowheel undercarriage differed from the IS-28 in being fully retractable.
