History
It first flew in January 1990. It was a two-seat shoulder-wing aircraft with a conventional tail unit and a VK T2000 modified boxer engine.
Variants
The IPE 06U was a single-seat ultralight, with eight built. The IPE 06A was a significantly revised high-wing variant with STOL capability, and a towplane version, the IPE 07, did not progress beyond planning.
Where you'll see it
Eighteen were built in total. An American investor funded IPE's return to aircraft building in the early 2000s, which produced the IPE 06A.
