History
Jose Carlos de Barros Neiva designed it after the Second World War, keeping the best characteristics of the Grunau Baby. The first prototype flew in 1945 and the type certificate was granted in 1950.
Variants
A version called the B-Monitor Modificado, with a different nose and a welded steel tube fuselage, was built as a single example in 1959.
Where you'll see it
The National Aviation Campaign bought the first prototype and 20 more for aero clubs. It trained hundreds of pilots and set many Brazilian soaring records.
