History
Enoch Thulin designed it in Sweden in 1916 as his Type M and sold the design to Nielsen & Winther of Copenhagen after the Swedish military showed no interest. The first flight was on 21 January 1917.
Variants
The company built 16 aircraft in all, most of them based on the Thulin design.
Where you'll see it
Six were delivered to the Danish Army Air Corps in 1917 and used for training experienced pilots at Klovermarken. They were retired in 1919 after three had crashed, perhaps owing to engine unreliability.
