The Nord 3202 was a French primary training aircraft of the late 1950s, designed to provide the French armed forces with an economical and straightforward piston-engine basic trainer. It served as the first step in French military pilot training.

History
First flown in 1957, the Nord 3202 was selected to equip the French Armée de l'Air and Aéronavale as a basic trainer. It replaced older types and introduced student pilots to the fundamentals of flight in a forgiving low-wing monoplane. The aircraft served through the 1960s before being superseded by more modern trainers including jet types.
Variants
The Nord 3202B was a production variant with minor improvements; a small number were also supplied to export customers.
