History
It used the main wing section from the S-1 and a 25 hp Anzani 3 three-cylinder engine in a tractor configuration. In the first flight attempt on 3 June 1910 the biplane reached two to four feet and travelled about 200 m.
Variants
Only one was built. It was developed from the Sikorsky S-1 and led to the Sikorsky S-3.
Where you'll see it
After several successful flights it was destroyed on 30 June 1910, when Sikorsky inadvertently stalled the underpowered aircraft at about 20 m.
