The Timm N2T Tutor was a US Navy primary trainer of World War II notable for its pioneering use of Duramold, a resin-bonded plastic construction method intended to conserve strategic aluminium.

History
Developed by O.W. Timm Aircraft and entering service around 1943, the Tutor was procured as a wartime alternative to aluminium-framed trainers. Its Duramold fuselage was innovative for the period but the type was built in modest numbers. After the war the type quickly passed out of service.
Variants
Produced mainly as the N2T-1 for the US Navy; no significant variants are known.
