The Tomashevich Pegasus was a Soviet experimental lightweight fighter designed in the desperate circumstances of 1942, intended to be built quickly from simple materials.

History
Designed by Dmitry Tomashevich while under arrest in a sharashka (prison design bureau), the Pegasus featured an unusually broad wing intended to compensate for a low-powered engine. It flew in 1942 but showed insufficient performance for frontline use.
Variants
A single prototype was built; no production followed.
