History
Development of the Skeldar was initiated in the 2000s as a collaboration between Saab and Swiss firm UMS, with the V-200 variant entering trials around 2010. The platform was designed to meet naval demand for a compact, ship-deployable VTOL UAV with meaningful endurance.
