The T-101 Grach (Rook) is a Russian single-engined utility turboprop designed as a modern monoplane successor to the ubiquitous Antonov An-2 biplane.

History
Developed in the early 1990s by the Aeroprogress/ROKS-Aero venture, the type first flew in 1994 with a Mars TVD-10B turboprop replacing the An-2's radial. It reused An-2 layout thinking, a big braced high wing over unprepared strips, but in single-wing form.
Variants
The basic T-101 carries around ten passengers or bulky cargo and can be fitted with skis or floats. Proposed developments included stretched and re-engined versions, though production remained very limited.
Where you'll see it
The Grach saw only small-scale Russian civil and utility use for tasks such as agriculture, patrol and survey work, and has no UK service history. Its rugged STOL character kept it attractive for remote operations.
