History
The Viking lineage traces back to Bellanca's tradition of efficient wood-structure wings; the Model 17 Viking entered production in the late 1960s and was produced until the 1980s, offering cruise speeds competitive with more complex aircraft. AviaBellanca continued production after the Bellanca brand changed hands.
Variants
Produced in 300 hp (Viking 300) and turbocharged Turbo Viking forms; the Super Viking added further refinements.
