The Challenger 605 is a large-cabin Bombardier business jet, the widebody-feel evolution of the long-running Challenger 600 series known for its exceptionally roomy cabin.

History
A development of the Challenger 604, the 605 was introduced in 2006 with larger cabin windows, a new tail cone and updated Collins Pro Line 21 avionics. It continued the line first flown in 1978 and was built until 2016 before the Challenger 650 replaced it.
Variants
It sits between the earlier 604 and the later, more powerful Challenger 650 in the family. The same wide fuselage underpins the CRJ regional jet lineage.
Where you'll see it
A staple of the UK and European charter fleet, the Challenger 605 is regularly seen at Farnborough, Luton and Biggin Hill. Its wide cabin makes it popular for corporate and head-of-state transport.
