WEFT is AircraftIQ's four-point recognition method — how it works.
Spot it by:
- Strut-braced high wing with constant chord and blunt tips
- Open cockpit in a short ovoid fabric-covered nacelle
- Flat wooden girder fuselage with a sprung landing skid
Look for a primary glider with a V-strut braced high wing, a short nacelle around the pilot and a deep near-rectangular rudder.
Specifications
- The CAT 15 Vittoria has a length of 5.6 m (18 ft).
- It has a wingspan of 10.7 m (35 ft).
- Typical crew: 1.

History
Like many primary gliders of the 1930s it was an attempt to develop Alexander Lippisch's Zögling. It was designed and built at Construzioni Aeronautiche Taliedo under Ettore Cattaneo and first flew in 1938.
Variants
Only one was built, so there were no other versions.
Where you'll see it
