History
Cessna developed the Citation X as a clean-sheet high-speed design with a strongly swept wing and Rolls-Royce AE 3007 engines. It first flew in December 1993 and entered service in 1996, later held the title of fastest business jet in the world.
Variants
The updated Citation X+ stretched the fuselage, added winglets and more powerful engines, raising the top speed to around Mach 0.935. Both share the distinctive high-speed swept wing.
