WEFT is AircraftIQ's four-point recognition method — how it works.
Spot it by:
- Straight tapered mid-mounted wing with a forward-swept trailing edge
- Tandem two-seat cockpit under a two-piece canopy with the rear seat raised 300 mm
- Fixed monowheel with a forward skid and a small tail skid
A wooden glider whose spar is slightly forward-swept, with unswept leading edge and marked forward sweep on the trailing edge, so that both pilots sit ahead of the wing.
Specifications
- The Ciani EC 40/62 Eventuale has a length of 7.78 m (26 ft).
- It has a wingspan of 17.7 m (58 ft).
- Typical crew: 2.

History
Edgardo Ciani designed it to combine the cross-country speed of his Urendo with the low-speed thermal climbing ability of the CVV-6 Canguro, and it was built by the Sezioni Sperimentale di Volo a Vela of Milan.
Variants
Two Eventuale were built.
Where you'll see it
It did not enter production. One example was being restored for static display at the Volandia Museum in Varese in 2010.
