The Cessna 206 Stationair is a six-seat single-engine utility hauler, the load-lugging workhorse of the high-wing Cessna line.

History
Derived from the 205 and first flying in 1962, the 206 paired a roomy cabin with the big rear clamshell cargo doors that define its mission. Production paused in 1986 and resumed in 1998 with the fuel-injected 300 hp 206H and turbocharged T206H.
Variants
The line spans the original U206 utility models, the P206 passenger version, and the modern 206H and turbo T206H still built today. Floats, skis and skydiving doors are common field conversions.
Where you'll see it
Less common on UK club lines than its smaller siblings, the 206 turns up mainly in parachute-drop operations, aerial work and charter where its lift and cabin volume pay off rather than in routine PPL training.
