History

The 411 first flew on 18 July 1962 and was developed from the Cessna 310. Production ran from 1962 to 1968, and 302 were built.

Variants

The 411A had a larger nose baggage capacity and optional tanks in the engine nacelles. Cessna developed the lower-cost Models 401 and 402 from it, and a pressurised development became the Cessna 421.

Where you'll see it

Six 411s were delivered to France between 1966 and 1969 as communications aircraft, two of them used for ministerial VIP transport. Thailand designated the 411A the B.PhTh.1.
