History
Evektor of Kunovice, Czech Republic developed the EuroStar in the early 1990s, establishing the company as a significant European LSA manufacturer. The all-metal airframe proved durable and straightforward to maintain, and the design gained popularity with flying schools across Europe. Evektor later developed the SportStar series as a successor.
Variants
The EuroStar SL is a light sport certified variant; the EuroStar EV-97 is the most common designation; later versions include improved avionics and a Rotax 912 ULS engine.

EuroStars are common on the UK NPPL microlight register and are used extensively for training by UK schools; parts and support are well established.
