The Reims F337E Super Skymaster is a French licence-built variant of the Cessna 337 Super Skymaster, produced by Reims Aviation with centreline-thrust push-pull engines and twin boom tail.

History

Reims Aviation of France held a licence to manufacture Cessna light aircraft for European markets from the 1960s. The F337 series replicated the distinctive push-pull configuration of the Cessna 337, allowing pilots to fly safely on one engine without asymmetric handling issues. The E variant introduced a more powerful engine fit over earlier French-built marks.

Variants

Reims produced the F337, F337E, F337F, F337G, F337H, FP337H (pressurised), FT337G (turbocharged), and FTB337G (militarised Milirole), closely following Cessna's own variant sequence.

Where you'll see it

Operated by private owners and flying clubs across Europe; the militarised FTB337G Milirole also served with several air forces in a light observation and patrol role.
