History
Gerhard Fieseler designed the F 4 to compete in international aerobatic competitions in the early 1930s, leveraging his own expertise as a top-ranked aerobatic pilot. The aircraft was highly manoeuvrable and helped Fieseler win several competitions before he went on to establish his own aircraft manufacturing company, later famous for the Fi 156 Storch.
