History
Designed by B&F Technik Vertriebs GmbH in Germany and first flown in 1997, the FK12 aimed to recreate the sports-flying character of 1930s biplanes using modern composite construction and current engines. It became popular in European ultralight circles for its handling and aerobatic capability.
Variants
The FK12 is offered with various engine options including Rotax 912 and 912S. An aerobatic-capable version is available for limited competition use. The FK9 is a related low-wing monoplane from the same manufacturer.
