History
First flown in 2010, the G 120TP added a turboprop engine to Grob's composite G120 trainer family to meet demand for ab-initio and screening trainers with jet-like handling.
Variants
Sold in different avionics fits to multiple air forces; the UK's version, operated by Affinity Flying Training Services for the RAF and Royal Navy, is designated the Prefect T1.
Where you'll see it
In active use with the UK, Germany and other air forces as an elementary flying trainer; the RAF's Prefect T1 fleet flies from RAF Cranwell.
