The Glasflügel H 204 Standard Libelle is a refined development of the H 202, featuring an improved wing profile for better thermal performance and a refined cockpit. It continued the Standard Libelle's competition success into the early 1970s.

History
Glasflügel introduced the H 204 around 1970 with aerodynamic refinements to the wing section that improved low-speed thermalling performance without sacrificing cruise speed. The type remained competitive in Standard-class events and sold well across Europe and North America.
Variants
Follows directly from the H 202; both models share the Standard Libelle designation and are closely related to the Club Libelle trainer variant.
