The HAL Krishak (meaning 'farmer' in Hindi) was a simple high-wing liaison and observation aircraft developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for the Indian Air Force. It served in the army co-operation and forward air control roles during the 1960s.

History
Designed entirely in India, the Krishak entered service with the Indian Air Force as a replacement for aging liaison types. It was one of the first aircraft to be both designed and built domestically by HAL, demonstrating growing Indian aerospace capability. The type saw limited production and was eventually superseded by more capable aircraft.
