The Heinkel HD 16 was a single-engined biplane torpedo floatplane, an improved development of the earlier HD 14 built for the Swedish Navy.

History
Developed as a refinement of the disappointing HD 14, two HD 16s were built under licence by Svenska Aero in Stockholm and entered Swedish Navy service as the T 1, armed with a Swedish-built 45cm torpedo and a machine gun for the crew.
Variants
No further HD 16 development followed after the two Swedish-built T 1 aircraft.
Where you'll see it
The T 1s served briefly with the Swedish Navy before being retired; no example survives today.
