The Kitfox Series 7 is a high-wing, tube-and-fabric light sport kit aircraft designed for backcountry and bush flying. Its folding wings allow road-trailer storage and hangar-free ownership.

History
Kitfox Aircraft of Homedale, Idaho introduced the original Kitfox in 1984, and the design evolved through successive series, with the Series 7 arriving around 2004. The design emphasises STOL performance, low stall speed, and field maintainability. Rotax 912 engines are the most common powerplant choice.
Variants
The Series 7 is offered in standard and long-wing configurations; a taildragger undercarriage is standard, with tundra tyres available for rough terrain.

The Kitfox is popular on the UK LAA permit-to-fly scheme, where its foldable wings and economical Rotax power make it a practical cross-country tourer.
