Recognition (WEFT)
| W — Wings | Mid-mounted, straight |
|---|---|
| E — Engines | 1 × piston, nose-mounted |
| F — Fuselage | 6.67 m fuselage |
| T — Tail | Conventional |
WEFT is AircraftIQ's four-point recognition method — how it works.
Spot it by:
- Cantilever biplane wings with no interplane struts or flying wires
- Considerable stagger between the two near-identical wings
- Enclosed tandem cabin with the front seat under the upper wing
The wings and tailplane were readily detachable and stowed alongside the fuselage for towing. The ailerons were fitted only to the lower wings.
