- Three-bay biplane flying boat with slight forward stagger
- Pusher engine strut-mounted just under the upper wing
- Raised enclosed cabin with four windows on each side
Look for a three-bay biplane flying boat with a pusher engine under the upper wing and a rectangular boxy fuselage.

History
It was an enlarged, more powerful development of the LFG V 8 Bärbel, named after the Baltic town of Sassnitz. It was powered by a 157 hp Mercedes D.IIIa in pusher configuration.
Variants
LFG also offered a wooden version with similar power and weight. Two V 18s were built, one metal and one wood.
Where you'll see it
The prototype was briefly flown over the Baltic and gave sightseeing trips. By July 1921 both aircraft were stored because of Allied restrictions on German aircraft construction.
