History

The Malliga 1 was modified over the winter of 1971-72, with the span increased to 26 m and the new outer wing portions given taper and dihedral. An initial attempt to fly in 1972 failed because of inaccurate rigging of flying wires.

Variants

It was a modified version of the Malliga 1, with conventional ailerons for lateral control and a raised, larger propeller.

Where you'll see it

After the rigging was corrected, the craft managed flights of up to 600 m.
