History
Developed by the brothers Nardi in the late 1930s, the FN.315 competed in Italian and international air races and was evaluated for training roles by the Regia Aeronautica. Its clean aerodynamic design allowed exceptional speed on modest power. The onset of World War II curtailed further development.
Variants
The FN.315 was a limited production design; related Nardi types included the FN.305 trainer series which achieved greater production numbers.
