PAL-V Liberty

The PAL-V Liberty is a Dutch gyroplane-car hybrid that can be driven on public roads and flown as an autogyro, representing one of the very few roadable aircraft to reach commercial production. It uses a tilting three-wheeled car body combined with a deployable autorotating rotor and pusher propeller.

History
PAL-V (Personal Air and Land Vehicle) of the Netherlands flew a prototype in 2012 and began offering the Liberty for sale under ultralight gyroplane regulations. The design required years of engineering to meet both road and aviation certification requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Variants
The Liberty Sport is the base model; the Liberty Pioneer features additional equipment and a higher specification. Both variants share the same basic drivetrain and rotor system.
