The Rans S-7 Courier is a tandem-seat, fabric-covered high-wing kit aircraft designed for cross-country touring with improved cruise speed over the S-6. Full-span flaperons give it good low-speed handling and STOL characteristics.

History
Rans introduced the S-7 in 1989 as a more refined touring design built on the success of the S-6 series. The tandem enclosed cockpit and longer fuselage provide a more comfortable cross-country experience while retaining the simple tube-and-fabric construction. It is often powered by Rotax 912 engines.
Variants
The S-7S is a single-seat aerobatic variant; the Courier name is used for the standard two-seat enclosed cabin version.
