History
First flown in 1942, the Re.2004 was evaluated as Reggiane continued to develop its fighter line toward the excellent Re.2005. Little detailed information survives about the Re.2004 specifically, as it was quickly superseded by the more capable Re.2005 Sagittario. The type existed as a prototype only.
