The Robin DR.300-108 2+2 is the entry-level variant of the DR.300 series, using a 108 hp Lycoming O-235 engine in the evolved wooden airframe that Robin developed from the Jodel DR lineage.

History

The DR.300 series represented Robin's main production line in the early 1970s, refining the earlier DR.200 designs with a slightly updated airframe and improved cabin. The -108 2+2 was the most economical variant, aimed at aero clubs wanting an affordable four-place aircraft. It shared its basic structure with the rest of the DR.300 family including the aerobatic DR.315.

Variants

The DR.300 family includes variants from -108 to -180R, differing in engine power; the aerobatic DR.300-180R and glider-tug DR.300-180 were also built.
